Gary Jefferson talked with me at NSRA's Nats North in Kalamazoo a few years back about building a 37 chassis for his Tudor humpback. He contacted us this year and we finally worked out all the details. He is running a small block Ford with an overdrive trans. The chassis was built to accommodate the setup with an X member that supports the floor of the car like Henry intended. The front suspension is a Heidt’s' and the rear suspension is parallel leaf with airbags. The frame rails are fully boxed. The rear suspension having airbags will let Gary adjust the suspension to load and road conditions. I can't say enough for airbag suspensions. We built a 32 chassis a couple years back for Ron Murphy with rear air suspension. Ron has driven the car a couple of years and can't say enough about the ride. Gary is having a local builder actually assemble the 37 and we delivered the rolling chassis to Ron's shop, R & R Restoration in Taylor Michigan. Ron has all the right tools, as you will see in the photos. Check out the pictures. Gary is the happy guy at the rear of the chassis. Ron is on the lift control setting the body on the chassis.
